Stuart Levine, Rezko trial, Obama, Obama Nation, Jerome Corsi, Health Facilities Planning Board, Blagojevich, Dr. Robert Weinstein, Levine drug user, Corruption, Campaign contributions

August 15, 2008

From the petition:
Whereas: Senator Barack Obama used the office of IL Senator to facilitate the vote rigging in Chicago as chairman of the Illinois Senate Health and Human Services Committee. Mr. Obama pushed legislation in Senate Bill
1332 to reduce the number of members of the Health Facilities Planning Board from 15 to 9. Mr. Obama did conspire with Stuart Levine, Tony Rezko and Rod Blogojevich to rig the committee and was rewarded with campaign
contributions. The new members appointed included 3 doctors who contributed to Mr. Obama. On April 21, 2004, Stuart Levine explicitly advised Dr. Robert Weinstein, who is now indicted, of Tony Rezko’s role in manipulating the Planning Board’s vote.

Stuart Levine, the star witness in the Tony Rezko trial, co schemer in the Dr. Robert Weinstein Indictment and admitted long time drug user, has many ties to Barack Obama. Levine, on the witness stand, revealed Barack and Michelle Obama were at the same social function in 2004 with Tony rezko and Iraqi Billionaire Nadhmi Auchi. Jerome Corsi, in his book “The Obama Nation“, reveals this encounter that Obama tried to deny:

“Following this twisted trail of suspicious millions, investigative reporters have drawn a line from Obama to Rezko to Saddam Hussein’s Oil for Food scandal, with the key connecting point being billionaire Nadhmi Auchi.”

“At Rezko’s trial, the government’s star witness, Stuart Levine, testified he attended a reception Rezko held at his home for Auchi on April 3, 2004. Levine further testified that Barack and Michelle Obama attended the reception and met Auchi. As fully expected, the Obama campaign continued to maintain Obama had never met Auchi, saying in effect that Levine had committed perjury.”

Here are some exerpts from a post on the Citizen Wells blog:

“If you have been following the Tony Rezko corruption trial, several names are mentioned over and over. Obama, Stuart Levine and Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich are mentioned in the same sentence as Rezko and Chicago and Illinois corruption. Governor Blagojevich has not been indicted yet but many believe his indictment is probable. The Illinois legislature recently proposed a bill to allow the Illinois people to recall the governor. It was narrowly defeated. The Chicago Tribune just came out with a story about Blagojevich, his strong ties to Rezko and the possibility of his indictment.”
““The prosecution’s star witness, Stuart Levine, testified that on that same fundraising trip he thanked Blagojevich for his reappointment to a hospital planning board. The governor, according to the testimony, told Levine to “never discuss any state board with me,” but then added, “but you stick with us and you’ll do very well for yourself.””

From a recent Chicago tribune article:

“Edward Hospital, which has a stormy history with the Health Planning Board, first applied to build a hospital in Plainfield in 2003. Hospital Chief Executive Officer Pam Meyer Davis reported to federal authorities that then-board member Stuart Levine attempted to extort a kickback in exchange for approval.

The subsequent investigation led to the indictment and conviction of Levine and political fundraiser Tony Rezko, who authorities said participated in the scheme.

After the federal investigation, the board was revamped and all new members sit on it now.”

The Case Against Barack Obama, Dan Shomon, Obama, Corruption, Robert Blackwell, State Grants, Killerspin, Campaign Contributions, Chicago pay for play, David Freddoso

August 15, 2008

One of the charges of corruption against Barack Obama on the Petition to Impeach and/or expel him from the senate is below:

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has engaged in unscrupulous business
practices, in particular with Mr. Robert Blackwell. Mr. Obama
received an $ 8,000 per month “legal retainer” from Mr. Blackwell
for a total of $112,000 and reported the income through his law firm
in a manner not unlike money laundering. Obama, along with Obama
campaign manager Dan Shomon, procured $ 320,000 in state grants
for Blackwell’s company Killerspin. Blackwell companies contributed
over $ 32,000 to the Obama campaign in 2007.

The LA Times broke this story in April 2008. Obama’s dubious ties to Robert Blackwell and Dan Shomon have barely been touched since except for a few bloggers and now David Freddoso in his book, “The Case Against Barack Obama.”  Here are some exerpts from the book:

“Perhaps the most surprising story about Barack obama and money is one that no one talks about at all.  It involves ping-pong.  it is the story of how state Senator Obama was paid more than $100,000 for legal work, then helped his client’s company get $320,000 in taxpayer grants.
For some reason, only the Los Angeles Times has examined the story of Robert Blackwell Jr. and the government grants he received after he invested in Barack Obama.

Obama writes in The Audacity of Hope that after his failed congressional run in 2000, he was “more or less broke.”  His family would make $240,000 that year, but they had large debts, and he had just loaned his losing campaign $9,500 and maxed out his credit card.  To keep his family afloat, he writes, he went back after the election to his law firm, Miner, Barnhill & Galland, which he had neglected throughout 2000 (he received no income from the firm that year).  He planned to do some legal work to supplement his modest $58,000 salary as a state senator.

In 2001, while serving as a state senator, Obama would earn $98,158 from his law practice.  Of that money, $80,000 came from a single client – Electronic Knowledge Interchange (EKI)-which had put him on a $8,000 monthly retainer.  This lasted fourteen months and netted Obama $112,000.  The company was owned by one Robert Blackwell Jr., a friend of Obama’s since about 1995.

Months after Obama received his final payment from EKI, he wrote a request on Illinois Senate letterhead and sent it to state officials for a $50,000 tourism grant to a company named Killerspin. This company was also owned by Blackwell.

Killerspin runs ping-pong tournaments and sells ping-pong gear.  After Obama’s original request, Killerspin received a $20,000 grant for a ping-pong tournament.  Over the next three years, Obama’s aide Dan Shoman-who was working for the senator part-time and part-time for Blackwell-would help Killerspin get a $200,000 state grant for its 2003 tournament and a $100,000 state grant for its 2004 tournament, for a total of $320,000.

So Blackwell’s company paid Senator Obama a large sum of money.  Blackwell’s other company received almost three times as much in state grants, with help from Obama and his aide.

The Times reports that Obama, in his required legal financial disclosures, buried his six-figure financial conflict of interest amid a list of hundreds of other clients represented by his law firm.  He did not mention that the majority of his 2001 income came from EKI-nor was he required to do so under Illinois law.  Moreover, the Times piece notes:

The business arrived at an especially fortuitious time because, as the law firm’s senior partner, Judson Miner, put it, “it was a very dry period here,” meaning that the ebb and flow of cases left little work for Obama and cash was tight.”

The Citizens Wells blog has covered Obama and his strong connections to Dan Shomon. The LA Times referred to Dan Shomon as an Obama aide. Shomon was actually Obama’s campaign manager at one time. Citizen Wells was contacted by Robert Blackwell after the followup articles to the LA Times article. Here are some exerpts from the Citizen Wells blog:

“Obama and his supporters have downplayed the legal retainer and grant
request. The MSM is barely touching this story. Even the LA Times,
that broke this story, downplays the significance of Dan Shomon and
refers to him as an Obama aide. Dan Shomon was much more than just
an Obama aide. Consider the following facts about Shomon and his
relation with Obama and other politicians and businessmen.

Here are the facts about Dan Shomon, Robert Blackwell, Alexi Giannoulias and Obama’s ties to Shomon, Blackwell, Alexi Giannoulias and Chicago and Illinois corruption:

Dan Shomon was a long time employee of Robert Blackwell and Barack Obama as well as main political advisor to Obama.

Obama initiated the request for Robert Blackwell company Killerspin to receive a grant from Illinois and made the request on official Illinois Senate stationery.

Shoman, while an employee of both Blackwell and Obama secured grants for Blackwell company Killerspin:
$200,000 grant for its 2003 tournament
$100,000 grant for its 2004 tournament

Robert Blackwell had strong ties to Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich who has been mentioned many times during the Tony Rezko corruption trial.
The following is from a news release by EKI Consulting:
“BLACKWELL JR. NAMED TO ILLINOIS GOVERNOR’S TRANSITION TEAM”
The top of the press release reads:
For Immediate Release
Contact: Dan Shomon, (312) 578-0450
(* reference 1)

Obama supported the re-election of Gov. Rod Blagojevich, whose administration is embroiled in corruption probes.

EKI, a Blackwell company, gave $20,000 to Blagojevich.
Electronic Knowledge Interchange won $6 million in technology consulting and software development contracts. EKI did no state
work until after Blagojevich took office.
(* reference 2)

Robert Blackwell Companies gave the following to Obama’s campaign in 2007:

BLACKWELL CONSULTING SERVICES $9,200.00
EKI  $6,925.00
KILLERSPIN  $16,500.00
(* reference 3)

Dan Shoman was referred to as an Obama aide in the LA Times article but he was much more than that:
October 2002
“He (Obama) consulted with Shoman, still his main political adviser”
(* reference 4)

April 13, 2006

“Like the ill-advised connection to Obama in Aurora, thanks to Dan Shomon, Obama is mentioned in the same discusion with all these problems with Giannoulias.”
“Shomon’s main activities are political campaigns and helping Obama and his friends like Alexi Giannoulias who is now the Treasurer for the State of Illinois.”
“We think it’s HIGHLY unethical of Dan Shomon or Tom Weisner to exploit the taxpayers of Aurora for political purpose. Barack Obama’s credibility is also risked in the process of Shomon and Weisner’s games at the expense of taxpayers.
“Aurora Mayor Thomas J. Weisner gave Shomon the lobbying gig in exchange for political work, including getting the endorsement of Barack Obama back in 2005 when Obama first said he would remain “neutral” in the heated mayoral race.”
“In the 2006 Democratic primary, for example, Obama endorsed first-time candidate Alexi Giannoulias for state treasurer despite reports about loans Giannoulias’ family-owned Broadway Bank made to crime figures. Records show Giannoulias and his family had given more than $10,000 to Obama’s campaign, which banked at Broadway.”
(* reference 5)
“Andy Martin says ‘retainer’ by Robert Blackwell, Jr. was classic Illinois ‘pay to play’ and may have been criminal behavior.”
(* reference 6)

From Obama’s website. Reveals connection to Shomon:
“”She is as strong and stubborn as he is,” said Dan Shomon, an aide to Obama during his unsuccessful challenge to U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) eight years ago.”

http://www.barackobama.com/2007/04/22/michelle_obama_baracks_rock.php
“After just a few years, Obama was talking about running for Congress, and thought he saw an opportunity. In 1999, black congressman Bobby Rush had challenged Richard M. Daley for mayor, and lost. Obama conducted a poll, says then-campaign manager Dan Shomon, and it suggested that some voters, particularly white ones, were looking for an alternative to Rush.”

The Case Against Barack Obama, Tony Rezko, Obama, Corruption, slum housing, Law firm boss, Alison davis, David Freddoso book, Chicago Sun Times article, developers

August 15, 2008

David Freddoso has written a book, “The Case Against Barack Obama.”
In a chapter titled “Pinstripe Patronage: Obama takes care of his
friends”, Freddoso reveals the close ties between Obama and
convicted criminal Tony Rezko. Obama has lied about the level of
associations with Rezko and has denied doing favors for him. Here
are some exerpts from “The Case Against Barack Obama”:

“In June, Chicago Sun Times reporter Tim Novak reported that
Obama “wrote letters to city and state officials supporting his political patron Tony Rezko’s successful bid to get more than
$14 million from taxpayers to build apartments for senior citizens.”
The project, Cottage View Terrace, includes ninety-seven apartments.
It is a few blocks outside of Obama’s state Senate district.

The deal for which Obama help Rezko get this money also included
Obama’s old law firm boss, Allison davis. He is also a major Obama
fundraiser and a developer who has built or renovated 1,500
apartment units in Chicago. From the $14.6 million in state funds
that Obama requested, the two men would already be expected to
profit through their housing business. But Davis and Rezko were also
to collect $855,000 of it in “developers fees.””

“Developers need friends in government. In state senator Obama, the
developers had a friend. In Springfield, he was a reliable backer and
at times even a champion of the subsidy system that made Rezko and
other Chicago slum developers wealthy building low income housing.”

Obama, Kenya 2006, Corruption, Nigeria, Libya, ODM Candidate for President, Jacquerie, Part 2

August 11, 2008

We have received a 3 part series of articles on Obama, Kenya and Obama’s ties to Raila Odinga, Islam, communists and Obama’s hidden agendas. We are presenting the articles as we received them. Here is the second of three parts:

OBAMA: The ODM

Candidate for

PRESIDENT

By Jacquerie

Part 2.

In 2006, the new US Senator, Barack Obama, traveled to Kenya, the homeland of his father’s ancestors. Although biographical data on this Presidential candidate is sparse and sometimes self-contradictory, there are some facts reasonably well established. Despite his campaign website statement that his father was a mere

goat-herder, his father’s family, members of the Luo tribe were influential landholders who employed goat herders. Regardless of his staff claims that Obama is not related to Raila Odinga , internationally infamous for decimating his Kenyan opposition, Odinga insists Obama’s father is his maternal uncle. And contradictory to his insistence that he, himself, is a “Christian,” the candidate wrote in his “Dreams…” biography, in speaking of Muslims “should the political winds shift in an ugly direction, I will stand with them.”

It may come, then, of less surprise, to learn that the positive US media spin on Obama’s trip stands in sharp contrast to the reaction of the US allied Kenyan government to his activities there. Quoting from Kenya’s Official website , Kenya’s ambassador condemned Obama’s use to his official US Senate visa for purposes of public campaigning for Odinga, as “injurious to Kenya/US Bilateral relations.” Expressing “disappointment” with his “unprovoked and uncalled for” statements, in which Obama publicly and passionately accused our US ally of political corruption and incited whoever was willing to listen with emotionally charged calls for Kenya’s government to “Change!” This official protest drew attention to Obama openly contradicting himself by “appreciating Kenya as a beacon of peace and stability” while, simultaneously, accusing Kenyans of tribalism and sectarian divisions.” It also “took great exception” to being lectured (by  a foreigner and US officeholder) on the “merits and demerits of (Kenyan) corruption or what to do about it” as well as “choosing “to trash and sneer us in

the face.” In fact, CBC news, in one of the few US media clips of his Kenya visit

refers to Obama’s travel there as frequently including Odinga “at his elbow.” In this same report, a Kenyan government spokesman referred to Obama as a “stooge for Odinga.” Isn’t it a bit odd that a US Senator, who used his official visa to overtly campaign against a US allied government, was not rebuked for this behavior by either the US press or the Senate.  Not long after Odinga began his official ODM campaign for Kenya’s presidency, terror  tactics began against his opposition as did his tirade of corruption charges (corresponding to Senator Obama ‘public outcry’ during his Kenya trip.  A review of the ODM’s underlying, manipulative strategy reveals many correlatives to the conduct of the US Obama Presidential campaign. To begin, The ODM Action Plan charts a several part strategy to win, including: “reinforced promises of jobs and economic gains.”   In fact, since the recently “negotiated” government has formed, to end the ODM slaughter of Kenyans, the new “Prime Minister” position, created just for Odinga as well as the expansion of the cabinet to satisfy ODM demands for influence, are costing Kenyans about $1.5 million a month . This includes special travel benefits, club memberships, security personnel and shiny new cars for Cabinet

Ministers, all of which are tax-exempt. New PM Odinga, alone, has a security  staff of 45 with a fleet of cars to travel in. All this in a developing nation where the average annual per capita income of about $400. Guess we can see whose economic gains have been achieved, so far, by the “Grand Coalition” government, as it is called.

Apparently, that strategy is working so far for the few, if not the many. Credit goes to the ODM    Action Plan that made this ‘reform’ possible. See it here (after

the accounts pages, entitled: “Executive Brief on the Positioning and Marketing of the Orange Democratic Movement and the People’s President.” Under the header ‘The class issue” its’ directive to trigger a class war correlates to a widening aggression by Muslims. Its’ strategy of portraying existing democracies as …insensitive, uncaring…  ”calls for incitement of unrest” , particularly to resonate with . . youth who feel economically marginalized. ” On this front the ODM party plan it to “seek to elevate the emotions within all youth constituents…who may be willing to vote for us in protest and encourages the emphasis of visible signs of class disparity will provide important fodder for this theme.”

This same Action Plan calls for Odinga to remain allied with the US …(so that)…the “ODM can expect both financial and political support particularly from the US .” (We’ll review the current success of this strategy in Part 3). Under its next heading, called Pull All Plugs “…subterranean campaigns will form a critical component of our activities. Corruption in the government will provide

ready material for this war.” Note that the campaign, itself is referred to as a war, then recall how this March Daily Kos (Obama’s unoffical internet promoter, described the US Democratic political party as being in a state of “civil war. Those aware of blocked internet and media attempts to question Obama’s candidacy will readily identify the ongoing correspondence of ODM tactics – as applied to the US Presidential race.

Regarding the Media, the ODM plan refers to an “Orange team” which maintained “ intimate contacts across all the media ” as far back as 2005 – and actually mentions “ a number of senior media managers active in the campaign. ” Emphatically, the Plan establishes a directive for the strongest Media Centre possible, “understanding that victory in the media war could very well mean victory at the polls. Next, there is a reference to “Fixers ” as key point as men without whom “the whole thing could tumble whose tasks include

“insulate the candidate from attacks by not all advertising and campaign efforts  . . . and applying all possible efforts to “ retain discipline among the party leadership, including reminding them of their vulnerability .” This document may come from Kenya, but doesn’t it all sound much too familiar since Obama began his race to lead our nation?

Also of interest may be the chums of Odinga listed under “Funding” who include such high minded governing allies as “ Nigeria . . Libya. .. . and the Republic of the Congo” and, of added interest, this list of “funders” closes with “US Republicans .” We’ll leave it to others to ponder how Republicans have managed to be included in such good company, while recalling that the unnamed Friends

of Sen. B.O whom ODM documents say Odinga $1 million dollars are yet to be identified. It’s amusing that the only media denial of an Obama financial contribution to Odinga states “the Obama Presidential campaign” gave no funding to Odinga. Morale? Hair splitting pays.

ODM Action Plan “Schedule of Activities” includes “galvanize the rest of the country against a common enemy” by Mass Media, Rallies, Leaflets and viral email. If it’s a sign of things for US to look forward to, the Plan calls for heightened activity in the 3 weeks before the election. Other “Activities ” scheduled are to “ accentuate anti-opposition sentiments, cause un-ease in the (Party) ranks, attract )another opponents) votes by eliminating belief tha t” opposition will continue, “ communicate the intention to retain power within a select group of prominent political families. ” All these being activated by: “speculative news articles, public pronouncements at rallies, blogs and web forums, leaflets in targeted areas.” Continuing the theme of accusing others of “Corruption – as Obama did on Odinga’s behalf during his Senate trip – brand

the opponent as irredeemably corrupt as “ a diversionary salvos . . . worth pursuing throughout the electioneering period (via) press conferences, TV, radio, talk shows, rallies, viral email, Blogs and Youtube …” Then, there is note of a potential “ killer ” blow by more “ release of (opponent’s) incriminating record ” in government – to be done 10 days before the election . What is most interesting about this grand finale is the comment “Our media partners are waiting to serialize the contents.

The employment of ODM strategies continues with The age issue citing “our core supporters are essentially young people who are angry about the domination of politics by frail septuagenarians. Billboards and leaflets “ridiculing the old people” in the opposition with the “contrast to (images)

of (our candidate) with young people – the promise of a buoyant future .” Saving the worst for last, the ODM’s final category of action is simply headed Rigging .” Maybe we could call how to win even if you lose? It begins by “preparing the ground for rejection of unfavorable results and “deflect attention from ourselves should opportunities by available to manipulate voter turn out in (key) areas and closes with “Ethnic Tensions/Violence as a last resort to “discourage voter participation in hostile areas including “use of ODM agents on the ground to engineer ethnic tensions in target areas.” Anyone can find many youtube newsclips depicting the bloody systematic violence by ODM youth, after Odinga’s loss of the Presidency.

It’s disheartening for this life long Democrat to listen to young voters’ nonchalance toward Obama’s divisive, ruthless and dishonorable campaign tactics, summed in the cynical remark, “That’s just politics.” Have to say they are both right and wrong; Obama’s strategies bear little resemblance to the democratic system that has brought this country to greatness. But they sure do appear to come straight out of Odinga’s ODM handbook . Note, also, the political cartoon above, direct from the Kenya Nation paper. Seems far away Africans have a clearer concept of Obama’s message than many US voters do. Bearing in mind the other secret pact which Odinga signed onto with the Muslim nations, one needs to ask, when it comes to Obama, what’s next?

Comparing the two Presidential campaigns, warning signs might be drawn from recent remedial government policies in Kenya, required since the ODM’s bloody parley into partial rule. One which may sound familiar to anti-Obama bloggers requests media houses not to air live press conferences and call-ins into radio shows to empower editors to be in control of the information relayed, stating: “ In the prevailing environment, some people are using the

media to call for violence and to incite members of the public to engage in violence.” Another is the landmark launching of a new Witness Protection program , deemed necessary due to t he “ post election violence, grave human rights violations (and) wanton destruction of property by new criminal groups, organized along ethnic lines, to intimidate, threaten and kill witnesses who cooperate with law enforcement agencies. ” Bearing in mind the well-organized support for Obama among the Nation of Islam, Black Panthers and the Recreate ‘68 movement, where techniques are drawn from William Ayres and SDS handbook, one can wonder what role similar threats have played in the aquiescence of the Democratic Party to Obama’s presmptuous claim to the nomination? His reservation of a stadium to seat 75,000 of his imported fans might also be interpreted as a veiled threat. Oddly, the Democratic leaders, Senators Pelosi and Reid, who contributed to his precipitous pre-convention “coronation” were not even consulted nor informed of this surprising change of venue until after it was already arranged.

Connecting the dots “Obama the ODM Candidate for President, Part 3, will quote directly from Odinga’s Memorandum with the National Muslim Leaders Forum. This group, along with “Friends of Senator B.O. invested $1 million dollars in Odinga’s thus far partially successful coup of Kenya. Like ‘”a rose is a rose” a coup which calls itself a “Democratic Movement” but actually uses intimidating, deceptive and violent war strategies is still a coup.

More Americans need this vital information, which is ignored or intentionally screened out of MainStreamMedia reporting of the Obama campaign. Pass this article on to a friend.
