Petition to Impeach and/or expel Senator Obama, 1000 signatures, Comments reveal disgust, Obama, media, MSM, Americans voice opinions, Democrat Convention, Congress

August 16, 2008

The Petition to Impeach and/or expel Senator Obama is gathering
steam. Over 1,000 petitioners have signed on and the majority
have voiced their outrage at Obama and the Main Stream Media, MSM.
Most Americans are shocked at the free ride and promotion of
Obama by the MSM. This petition is a means for Americans to
be heard. The signers of the petition are also urged to send a
paper copy of the petition or letter of their choosing to their
senators and representatives.

Some have asked if the petition will be presented to Congress.
The answer is yes!

We will attempt to make the Democrat Party Delegates aware of
the petition as well. You can help in this effort.

Some have questioned if a senator can be impeached.
The answer is, technically yes. However the petition is worded
to request impeachment and/or expulsion from the senate.

This petition is a grassroots effort from Democrats, Republicans
and Independents. This petition receives no funding.

The most important aspect of the petition is getting the attention
of the American people, MSM and Congress with the core problems
with Barack Obama. The offenses listed on the petition are more
of the legal and abuse of power kind. While there are many more
troubling aspects of Obama and his past, the ones considered
to be more “impeachable” were included.

Please tell as many people as you can about the petition.

Democratic Convention Denver, 2008, Democrats, Delegates, Super Delegates, Harold Ickes, Hillary supporters, Petition to Impeach, expel Senator Obama

August 16, 2008

Delegates, Super Delegates, Hillary Clinton supporters, concerned citizens of the United States. The truth about Senator Obama is emerging. An increasing number of Americans see Obama for the ultra left wing, corruption entangled liar that he is. The Republicans are waiting until after the convention to reveal all the dirt they have on Obama and there is a lot of it. New books on Obama that have recently been published and persistent internet bloggers have revealed the truth about Obama despite the best attempts of the Obama Camp and MSM to cover up the truth.

There is a Petition to Impeach, expel Senator Obama. The petition is gaining steam and exposure. The petition will be presented to both houses of Congress. We urge you to read the petition and take it’s charges as well as comments from those signing it serious. The American public is fed up with politics as usual, the chicanery of this recent campaign and the irresponsibility of the MSM.

         A PETITION

                        for

The Impeachment of Senator Barack Obama

TO THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama is an admitted illegal drug user and
is believed to have used illegal drugs as recently as November 1999
or more recently. Mr. Obama has maintained contact with other
admitted illegal drug users.

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has maintained regular contact
with known criminals such as Antoin (Tony) Rezko and other
criminal elements in Chicago and Illinois. Mr. Obama has
conducted business with these criminals and received campaign
donations from them. Mr. Obama was compelled to return an estimated $250,000 in
donations related to Tony Rezko.

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has consistently lied about his
contact with convicted criminal Tony Rezko. The Tony Rezko
corruption trial revealed that FBI mole John Thomas helped investigators
“build a record of repeat visits to the old offices of Rezko and former
business partner Daniel Mahru’s Rezmar Corp., at 853 N. Elston, by
Blagojevich and Obama during 2004 and 2005,” according to the February
10, 2008 Chicago Sun-Times.

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has engaged in unscrupulous business
practices, in particular with Mr. Robert Blackwell. Mr. Obama
received an $ 8,000 per month “legal retainer” from Mr. Blackwell
for a total of $112,000 and reported the income through his law firm
in a manner not unlike money laundering. Obama, along with Obama
campaign manager Dan Shomon, procured $ 320,000 in state grants
for Blackwell’s company Killerspin. Blackwell companies contributed
over $ 32,000 to the Obama campaign in 2007.

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama used the office of IL Senator to
facilitate the vote rigging in Chicago as chairman of the Illinois Senate
Health and Human Services Committee. Mr. Obama pushed legislation in Senate Bill
1332 to reduce the number of members of the Health Facilities Planning Board
from 15 to 9. Mr. Obama did conspire with Stuart Levine, Tony Rezko and
Rod Blogojevich to rig the committee and was rewarded with campaign
contributions. The new members appointed included 3 doctors who contributed to
Mr. Obama. On April 21, 2004, Stuart Levine explicitly advised Dr. Robert Weinstein,
who is now indicted, of Tony Rezko’s role in manipulating the Planning Board’s vote.

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has engaged in lies and deception
about his past. Mr. Obama lied about his contact level with
convicted criminal Tony Rezko, the amounts and sources of
campaign contributions and encounters with the law. A complaint
has been filed with the Bar Association of Illinois alleging
that Mr. Obama did not answer truthfully all questions on the
application to the bar.

Whereas: Senator Barack Obama has invoked the FOIA in Illinois
when it was politically expedient and ignored or violated the
FOIA at other times. In the Illinois Senate proceedings of
Mr. Obama, in Senate Bill 1416, pleads the importance of businesses
bidding on state contracts having improved access to FOIA data. When
later questioned about his records during his term in the IL
Senate, Mr. Obama gave evasive answers or refused to supply records.

Whereas: The First Amendment provides a right for the people “to
petition the government for a redress of grievances.” Precedents
exist for impeachment and expulsion of a US Senator. Senator William
Blount was impeached by the House on July 7, 1797 and expelled by
the Senate the next day.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the People, Undersigned,
being citizens of the United States and residents in the Cities and States so
indicated, HEREBY Demand that the Congress of the United States begin
immediate impeachment and/or expulsion proceedings against Senator
Barack Obama.

Addendum: Petition to Impeach Senator Obama

We were urged to add the following information about Senator Obama.
This comes under the topic of lies and deception but also falls under more
serious charges of abuse of power and possible violation of the Logan Act.
Those signing the petition prior to this addendum will be identified.

August 4, 2008

Whereas: As a US Senator, Barack Obama violated the stated intention of
his 2006 Official Government Visa to Africa by publicly propagandizing
for his cousin, Railla Odinga against the US democratic ally of Kenya.
Whereas the stated “mission” of Senator Obama’s Official Visa, according
to the Kenya Office of Public Communications, was to “nurture relations
between the Continent and the United States” he, instead, made public
protest before Kenya citizens to rally against their leadership,
invoking a need for “Change!” and accusing this US allied nation of
“corruption.” In Official Protest of Mr. Obama’s passport abuse and
misconduct, Kenya’s government cited his “extremely disturbing
statements on issues which it is clear, he was very poorly informed, and
on which he chose to lecture the Government and the people of Kenya on
how to manage our country.” Whereas, furthermore, there is no public
record of any sanctions or reprimand by the US Congress of Senator
Obama’s passport violation or campaigning on foreign soil against a US
ally, history has since recorded the broadspread destruction of Kenya’s
economy and large scale loss of life as a result of the violence
instigated by Odinga’s ODM campaign there.

ObamaNation, Obama, Jerome Corsi, Tony Rezko, Change, Communism, Cult of Personality, Far left, Anti Israel, Kenya, Odinga, Drugs, Jeremiah Wright

August 8, 2008

Jerome Corsi, PHD, has written a comprehensive book, Obama Nation, about Barack Obama, leftist politics and the cult of personality. The book is a great introduction to Obama and the overall aspects of his character and past. There is too much about Obama to cover in one book. A good example of this is Obama’s long time ties to corruption and crime in Chicago and Illinois. Obama’s long time close ties to Tony Rezko, recently convicted of 16 counts of corruption, are especially worth examining.

Read this great book about the real Obama, by Jerome Corsi, and then dig deeper and ask questions. Go to the petition site to Impeach Senator Obama. Check out the reference sources on Obama and the rules for removing a US Senator from office:

Obama Impeachment possible, Expel Obama, Petition to Impeach, Expel Senator Obama

August 6, 2008

One thing stands out about Obama supporters. They are not informed, do not want to know the truth and when confronted with the truth about Obama, they lash out with personal attacks. We were contacted by an Obama supporter and this is the comment sent to us:

“i have read some incredibly stupid crap on these blogs, but this one takes the cake. first, you cannot impeach a senator. then all the rest of what you present as facts are equally ludicrous and your thinking even moreso. instead of wasting your time on this crap and exchanging hatemongering e-mails, why don’t you become a productive and informed citizen? read the constitution, learn about your country and try to improve your intelligence level just a tad.”

Obviously this person did not read the petition or references provided on the references page, has reading comprehension problems or does not want the truth.

The Petition states: Impeach, expel.

Impeach

Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary: 1a: to bring an accusation against b: to charge with a crime or misdemeanor; specif: to charge (a public official) before a competent tribunal with misconduct in office 2: to cast doubt on; esp: to challenge the credibility or validity of <~ the testimony of a witness> 3: to remove from office esp. for misconduct

US Constitution: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Precedent: On July 7, 1797  the House of Representatives exercised it’s constitutional power of impeachment and voted to charge Senator William Blount of Tennessee with “a high misdemeanor, entirely inconsistent with his public duty and trust as a Senator.”

Expel

Expulsion: The US Constitution gives the Senate the power to expel any member by a two-thirds vote.

Precedents: 15 Senators have been expelled from the US`Senate.

Any questions?

Obama 2006 Kenya trip, Kenya Government response, Obama impeachment petition, Addendum

August 4, 2008

The Petition to Impeach Senator Obama is one week old. The people of the U.S. are voicing their opinion and will be heard.

Today, August 4, 2008, an addendum was placed below the petition. We were urged to add a complaint about Obama’s 2006 trip to Kenya when he attacked the Kenya Government and supported his cousin, Railla Odinga. Here is the Addendum:

Whereas as a US Senator, Barack Obama violated the stated intention of his 2006 Official Government Visa to Africa by publicly propagandizing for his cousin, Railla Odinga against the US democratic ally of Kenya. Whereas the stated “mission” of Senator Obama’s Official Visa, according to the Kenya Office of Public Communications, was to “nurture relations between the Continent and the United States” he, instead, made public protest before Kenya citizens to rally against their leadership, invoking a need for “Change!” and accusing this US allied nation of “corruption.” In Official Protest of Mr. Obama’s passport abuse and misconduct, Kenya’s government cited his “extremely disturbing statements on issues which it is clear, he was very poorly informed, and on which he chose to lecture the Government and the people of Kenya on how to manage our country.” Whereas, furthermore, there is no public record of any sanctions or reprimand by the US Congress of Senator Obama’s passport violation or campaigning on foreign soil against a US ally, history has since recorded the broadspread destruction of Kenya’s economy and large scale loss of life as a result of the violence instigated by Odinga’s ODM campaign there.

This is another example of lies and deception from Obama. However this time, his actions are an abuse of power and possibly a violation of the Logan Act. The Government of Kenya was not happy that Obama misled them. Here is their response:

Impeachment of US Senator, Obama impeachment, Expel Obama, ABA, American Bar Association

August 1, 2008

There is much controversy and confusion about whether a US Senator may be impeached. William Blount, a US Senator from Tennessee, was impeached in 1797. The US House of Representatives has the power to initiate Impeachment proceedings. There has been no court ruling or law enacted that changes that power and responsibility. The confusion over this matter apparently affects information on the ABA, American Bar Association website. Here is a question and answer segment regarding impeachment:

“Q. How many impeachment proceedings have there been in our history? How many involved a president?
A. The serious nature of impeachment is reflected in the fact that the House of Representatives has only moved seriously to impeach 18 officials in the more than 200 years since the Constitution was ratified, including two presidents, one cabinet member, one senator, and 13 judges. (The trial of the senator in 1797 resulted in the judgment that a United States Senator is not subject to impeachment.) Only seven of these officers were convicted by the Senate. A president has never been removed from office through the impeachment process. Andrew Johnson, who was impeached in 1868, was not convicted by the Senate (by a margin of one vote) and Richard Nixon resigned before the House voted on the articles of impeachment recommended by the Judiciary Committee.”

An email was sent to the ABA for a clarification on the above:

“(The trial of the senator in 1797 resulted in the judgment that a United States Senator is not subject to impeachment.)”

Are you implying that the Senate trial established law rather than what I believe is tradition or assumption?

It is my understanding that no court has ruled on this.

The House is empowerd  to initiate Impeachment proceedings.

I await your answer.

Respectfully.

End of email

We would love to hear from the ABA.

On December 17, 1798, the Senate exercised its Constitutional “sole power to try all impeachments,” and initiated a Senate trial against Blount. Thomas Jefferson, as vice president, was president of the Senate and presided over the impeachment trial proceedings. Two months later, the charges against Blount were dismissed. The Senate determined it had no jurisdiction over its own members beyond its constitutional right to expel members by a two-thirds majority vote.

This was the opinion of the Senate at that time and no law was enacted and there was no court ruling.

Impeachment, Obama impeachment, Obama expelled, Senators can be impeached

August 1, 2008

“Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There’s a battle outside
And it is ragin’.
It’ll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’.”

From, “The Times they are a changin”, by Bob Dylan.

The Constitution of the United States:

Article I:

“The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.”

“The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments.”

Article II

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Notice the word Misdemeanors.

The U.S. House of Representatives can indeed impeach a U.S. Senator. They did so to Senator William Blount of Tennessee in 1797. Senator Blount was expelled from the Senate before Impeachment proceedings could begin. There has been no court case to determine otherwise. Of course, the Senate and the House have the power to expel their own members.
